At Parkaze, we know you care about how your personally identifiable information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). This Policy applies to Parkaze website and/or mobile applications (collectively the “Sites”). As used in this Policy Parkaze, LLC will be referred to as “Parkaze” or “we” and you will be referred to as “you”. Please read the Policy as it describes how we collect, why we collect, how we protect and how we use any personal information you provide to us via the Sites. By using the Sites you hereby consent that we may collect, use, and share your information in the following ways.

Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use, access or register for the Services in any way. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personally identifiable information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

Collection of Information

We may collect personal information, including but not limited to, your full name, email address, phone number and parking preferences when you make parking reservations using we and/or when you report a problem with one of our Sites. We may ask for your vehicle information and/or license plate number.

We may also occasionally ask users to complete surveys that we use for internal research. Wherever we collect personal information we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page. Please be aware that advertisers or websites that have links to our Sites may collect personally identifiable information about you and the information collection practices of those websites are not covered by this Policy.

Financial Information

In order to use our Sites you will be asked to provide certain financial information so that you can be charged for the Services that you have purchased. Please note that your financial information will be collected by a third-party payment processor that we have engaged to handle our financial transactions, and we will not have access to your financial information.

Use of Personal Information

As a general rule, Parkaze will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information; except when we have your permission (for example: when you confirm a booking, you give us permission to share your information with the Host) or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it. When you are on a Site and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with Parkaze alone unless it is stated otherwise. We may use the collected information to contact you about the Services. Parkaze reserves the right to disclose your personal information to law enforcement officials with a subpoena, in connections to a violation of any law.

We may choose to buy or sell assets, and may share and/or transfer customer information in connection with the evaluation of and entry into such transactions. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personally identifiable information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.

Third Party Data

Please be aware that Parkaze advertisers or websites that have links on our Sites may collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those websites linked to Parkaze.com are not covered by this privacy statement. Do not provide your personal information to any site you do not know or trust.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

As part of offering and providing customizable and personalized services, Parkaze may use cookies to store and sometimes track your information. A “cookie” is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and may be stored on your computer’s hard drive. Generally, we use these tracking analytic technologies cookies to gather non-personal information to do the following:

1. Store your personalized settings for items such as reservation and mobile preferences;
2. Determine whether you are using a public computer so that any Parkaze settings changed while using a public computer do not affect the next user’s ability to use Parkaze;
3. To estimate our audience size; each browser accessing Parkaze may be given a cookie that is then used to determine the extent of repeat usage and determine on an aggregate basis, which features of Parkaze are used and in order to gather this aggregate data, Parkaze may use cookies served by third parties;
4. Measure certain traffic patterns; track the areas of Parkaze’s Sites you have visited, track the website through which you came to Parkaze and your visiting patterns in the aggregate. We use this research to understand how our users’ habits are similar or different from one another so that we can make each new experience on Parkaze a better one; We may use this information to better personalize the content, banners, and promotions that you and other users will see on our Sites; and Parkaze.com also collects IP addresses for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. In addition to the above methods, when you use our services on the mobile app, we may use GPS technology or other similar technology to determine your current location in order to provide an enhanced service to you. We will not share your current location with any third parties.

Personal Preferences

In order to take advantage of Parkaze’s extensive benefits and make a reservation, you will be asked to provide a name, an email address, a password you create, and your primary driving city. You may elect not to receive emails other than automated service messages pertaining to the information you may have requested (i.e. reservations, real-time status, availability). When you have consented to receive marketing material from Parkaze, we will collect data on the category and location at which you have made the request in order to send you marketing communications which match your preferences. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by sending an email to [email protected] You also have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies you will be unable to use those Parkaze services that require the use of cookies in order to participate.

Modification/Deletion of Information

You may access, and, in some cases, edit or delete the information you’ve provided to us (i.e. name, password, email address, location, vehicle information, license plate information, user profile information). The information you can view, update, and delete may change as the Services change.  If you have any questions about viewing or updating information we have on file about you, please contact us at [email protected]

Finally, if you request, we will remove your name and all other personally identifiable information that you have provided from the Services. Please understand, however, that it may be impossible to delete this information completely, due to backups and records of deletions. In addition, please understand that, if you request removal of your information, you will be unable to utilize associated features of the Services. You may not request the removal of de-identified, anonymous, or aggregate data from our databases.

Security Disclaimer

We endeavor to protect the privacy of your account and other personally identifiable information we hold in our records, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security.  Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change or update this Privacy Policy in the future. The effective date is identified at the top of this Privacy Policy. Any revisions to this Privacy Policy will take effect immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email, by posting a notice on the Sites, or by other means. You should regularly review the current version of this Privacy Policy. Use of the Sites following posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy then in effect. If you continue to access or use the Sites after we have updated the Privacy Policy, your access or use of the Sites after the date such changes are effective shall be deemed as your agreement to be bound by those changes whether or not you have had actual notice of, or have read, the relevant changes. If you do not agree to be bound by the relevant changes, you should not continue to access or use the Sites.
